VMS Backup issues

Hi,

I have installed VMS2.2 with IDSMC and Firewall MC

I wanted to know whether itis possible to restore backup of this server onto another exactly identical server (same IP, hostname and config etc).

I will be bringing my existing server into offline mode and do a restore of the database of the same on the new server.

Is this possible????

Any help will be highly appreciated.

VMS does not support the failover, probably you can have it with another IP address but you need to manually change the IP when needed.
