Core issue
The telnet session can hang when you issue the show cam dynamic command in order to display the Dynamic Content-Addressable Memory (CAM) table entries. After you log back in and clear the CAM table with the clear cam dynamic command, you can view the new CAM table.
In some cases, the issue does not appear after you reload the switch.
Resolution
For a workaround, change the number of lines to display on the screen to zero before you execute the show cam dynamic command.
Set the screen length to zero in order to turn off the scrolling feature, which causes the entire output to display at once. The command to set screen length is set length 0.
