Is there known bug with latest JRE for accessing ASDM?
This is how ASDM is being accesed:
Connecting laptop to switch, switch to 5510
2. Laptop gets 192.168.1.2 ip from 5510
3. Browse to https://192.168.1.1
4. There is a page that offers 2 options
a. Download ASDM application
b. Launch java viewer
5. For both, we put 192.168.1.1 in the device address and leave the username and password blank. We did this following the Cisco quickstart quide.
Both basically give us the same problem, when we try to log in, we see a progress meter that goes to 100% and then the app goes away.
This is what we get from the java console. It seems to be crashing.
