For example, I have an application using TCP 2000 port. By default, PIX enable fixup protocol skinny 2000. Now the application can't work through pix.
Does it have something to do with the fixup protocol skinny 2000 ?

Have you tried the no fixup protocol skinny command to see if it starts working again?

The problem was solved after I had disabled the fixup protocol skinny 2000
