Hi everyone,
I'm preparing for the SCOR exam and already have the 1st edition of the CCNP SCOR Official Cert Guide. Does anyone know what the main differences are in the 2nd edition? Is it worth buying the updated version, or can I stick with the one I have? I’d prefer not to buy another book unless there are major updates.
Thanks in advance!

I've might found an answer. By reading this, I don't see any major differences.

Hello @Felixsson1,
the updated SCOR v1.1 exam is indeed a so called minor update which typically means that roughly about 10% of the content got revised/updated. A quick look at the v1.1 release notes confirms this:
Compared to v1.0, all domains (Security Concepts, Network Security, Securing the Cloud, Content Security, Endpoint Protection and Detection, and Secure Network Access, Visibility, and Enforcement) remain identical.
Several tasks were expanded to include hybrid and cloud solutions; NetConf, RestConf, and APIs were added to network management, and endpoint antimalware was expanded.
So if you feel confident to cover the expanded tasks with other materials, there is probably no need to buy the udpated version.
HTH!

I agree with @Jens Albrecht, if you can cover the updated topics by reading Cisco documenations or other study resources then probably you don't need to buy the updated book. However, personally I prefer preparing from the latest books available, and in case I have one and a new one got released as in your case, probably I will finish reading the first book and then I'd buy the second one and reading it as a whole. This will definitely help to improve the topics understanding and enforce the knowledge.
