Does webex mess with other programs (more specifically games) in the backround?

I have noticed that while I have webex open and am doing other things (typing somewhere or playing a game) webex laggs out what im doing every once in a while. Does webex do this on purpose or is this a bug?

You shouldn't have been playing games while working or studying.
