After upgrading to version 7.5.1 Cisco Security Network Analytics client isn't working. I enter the Ip address of the sms server and
the window stops at this point:

Hi, if you've downloaded the desktop client again after upgrading to the new version it would be worth checking that the correct IP address of the SMC is being used and also to try the FQDN (rather than IP) of the SMC too.

One more suggestion is to clear the java cache on the machine where you are using the client.

Hi,
If I recall correctly you can run 2 desktop clients for different versions; newly downloaded file will not upgrade the existing one. Make sure you are using the client you downloaded for 7.5.1, old client will not work. Also check the memory allocation(explained in below guide).

Sounds like a known bug. Clear old files via CLI and restart the service, but that might still run into permission issues.
