ASA software support list for each model
This document lists the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software train compatibility for current and legacy ASA models. For more detail, please see Cisco ASA Compatibility.
You can download an ASA software image from Download Software, which will need to have a valid account to download. ASA software upgrade guide is here. Before upgrading ASA software, referring release notes is recommended.

Support timeline of ASA software
From Cisco ASA 9.5(1), support timeline for Cisco ASA releases is changed. ASA software releases of an even second digit (e.g. 9.4, 9.6, etc.) will be supported for more long time than ASA software releases of an odd second digit (e.g. 9.5, 9.7, etc.). Resolved bug list of latest version
You can check lists of resolved software bugs by referring to Open and Resolved Bugs in ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls Release Notes.
You can check lists of resolved software bugs for released new interim version by referring to Interim release notes. These release notes are useful to check latest fixes.
