Amending a member pwwn MDS 9000

Guys,

Its a very long time since i last configured and used our fabric switches but i am replacing my servers which are connected via hba, and would like to know that if i amend the member pwwn under the fcalias will it break my zoneset, meaning that all other servers would lose connectivity to the fabric?

if you are simply changing pwwn for a particular host, it won't affect other hosts in the fabric (obviously it will affect this host). Don't forget to re-active your zoneset after fcalias change.

cool, thanks great news i wasnt sure and i didnt fancy "trying" it out.  Yes all i am doing is replacing one server with brand new server with a new hBA card
