Greetings,
I was able to find the Cisco-IOS-XR-ping-act model to automate the Ping actions. But is there anything similar for the XE platforms? I cannot find any. And if none exists, what is a common solution to that - to automate ping action on XE platform using Yang/Netconf/Restconf?
Regards,
James

@Xiang Zuo it is listed under ICMP? https://github.com/YangModels/yang/blob/master/vendor/cisco/xe/1751/Cisco-IOS-XE-icmp.yang

Thanks bigevilbeard, for your input.
I have checked the icmp.yang file, I believe it is for configuring 'ip icmp' features on routers. What I was after was something to automate the ping command on a router (as if you log on to a router and run ping command). Similar to what is written in Cisco-IOS-XR-ping-act, you can see there is an executor to run ping command. But I could not find anything under XE.

James

So is there no way to issue pings on an IOS-XE box via Netconf then? It would be beneficial if it would work in both autonomous and controller modes.
