Hi Balaji,Forgot to post an update here but I got it resolved, it was a problem with one of the interconnecting trunks in esxi.

Hi Scot, How did you end up getting this to work? I am facing the same issue on 2 C9800-CL vWLCs. It's unclear what is wrong but my chassis #2 keeps going into Active Recovery.
