The IE-2000-16TC-L is suppose to be the same switch as the Rockwell Automation Stratix 5700 1783-BMS20CL. But the Cisco switch supports the GLC-FE-T-I 100BaseT copper SFP module, and the Stratix does not. Can anyone explain why? Or a workaround? ("s...

I would hate to think that this comes down to RA's contract with Cisco requiring Cisco to deliberately break copper SFP's. -Steve

Thanks for your input. Yes - RA does sell fiber SFP's for the Stratix. But this link says: "The Stratix 5700 switches are not compatible with copper SFP modules." Just doesn't make sense. -Steve https://rockwellautomation.custhelp.com/app/answers/de...
