settings for 1200 APs to co-exist with non-Cisco APs?

We recently deployed Cisco 1231 APs (cisco AIR-AP1231G-A-K9).The software version is Cisco IOS Software, C1200 Software (C1200-K9W7-M), Version 12.3(4)JAAs soon as these APs are powered on, we immediately lose connectivity to our existing Symbol APs....
