Cisco's GBICS are not completely proprietary. I have used them in a Cisco to HP and Cisco to Dell environment with no issues at all so you might give it a shot if all else fails. Just make sure they are the same kind i.e GLC-LH-SM 1310nm etc..RVSent ...
If you inserted a card you have to tell the router what it is and what slot it is in i.e. card type t3 Controller t3 2/0. Etc...Hope this helps.Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPad App

Check you GBICS (SFPs). You might also verify your fiber has light through both strands. If you have a GBIC mismatch or bad fiber it can cause it to transmit and not receive or vise versa. RVSent from Cisco Technical Support iPad App
