Is ther a way to monitor the temp related alarms on 6500 switches for over temperature conditions. We use openview as a NMG tool and would like to know how to set that up. If there is a doc related to that, it will be great.

Thanks for the reply,its a mixed enviornment where core 6500's running IOS and distibution 6500's running catOS.Is there a link to doucments that talks about it and shows the configuration.
Thanks for the reply, I figured it out and you are right the config-register was set to a wrong value. After I posted the query i went back and founf the value incorrect.
I finally got access to the router through modem. Sounds wiered but I re-generated the encryption keys and was able to access the router via ssh/telnet.
