Assign a static IP nr to a LAP521

I want to assign a static IPnr to a LAP521. FYI, I'm not using a CE520 switch but an unmanaged 3com switch. Preferable I like to use CCA.

WLC526 + 521 Controlled AP's + 3COMSwitch (not managed)

I'm unable to setup the connection between a WLC526 an a AP521 (controlled) access point. I'm not using a cisco switch in between but an 3 year Old 3com switch. Using CCA I can see that the AP has announced itself to the WLC, but the AP is not config...
