I have never seen direct documentation on using 0.0.0.0 however there is certainly documention on how the network command works under eigrp, which is that it will listen on any interface which falls with an ip address inside the network command.So if...

It is when you route back out the same interface. Routers do this fine, pixs not at all, asa only with a special command

I am a little fuzzy but I believe you have to turn on "mls qos" have you done this?
