Quick solution is to take out inspect (e)smtp from the policy applied to that interface. From the docs you would expect esmtp inspection to work, but it may not in some cases. Taking it out is a quick fix.Satya

Some exchange applications have problems with smtp going through PIX. In that case, you need to remove fixup smtp...Satya

There are few commands you could use to check the amount of traffic flow per vlan...If I recollect there is a command "show traffic ..."Satya

If you are using MS Exchange servers, you need to disable fixup (or inspect) for smtp. Satya
