I have a AP802 module from another router a 892w and I saw that the 1941's do have a wireless version, so I wondered if it's at all possible to use that module in one of them?If not is there a way to add wireless to that router via another method?Any...
Yes I also figured that would be the case as well even if I did have the correct module, I assume that is something that can not be changed or upgraded and would need to purchase the actual wireless version of the hardware instead.
Just finished trying the module out in the 1941, it does seem to work sort of, the module powers and it still has the configuration from when it was in the other device, but there is no bridging interface like it would have on the other router.During...
It does match in size and the socket, I have not put it in yet.I do see that the 1941w, uses a AP801 and not a AP802 like I thought.I will report back if I do decide to give it a try, but I guess that has solved it for now.Thanks
