Ginger,Thanks so much for the suggestion. Opening Outlook with the owner account and accessing a voice message somehow resolved the issue. It would be nice to know the root cause of the issue, but I'm just thankful we didn't have to delete mailboxes ...
The users have full mailbox access and it is viewable as an additional mailbox within their Outlook profile. I'll test out your suggestion and let you know what I find. Thanks for the feedback.
