Looking to find out if a POE Injector with an output of 54 VDC is compatible with the 8851 IP Phone that has an input requirement of 48 VDC? Or will it harm the phone over time?
None of the available injectors indicate passive or active. some do not outline the output all that well. The one we are looking at has an output of 54VDC 0.6A, with a 30 watt max output. The phone itself has a power input rating of 48 VDC .917A. ...
