i have tried,static (inside,outside) 192.168.1.8 192.168.1.8 netmask 255.255.255.248 0 0this works.. but still it cannot ping from inside to outside.

hey why is it 192.168.1.8? or should it be 192.168.1.0?static(inside,outside) 192.168.1.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.248 0 0
