What is a reasonable PSK length for WPA2/PSK/AES for reasonable security? The PreShared Key can be between 8 and 63 characters long (or exactly 64 hex characters). You want a key long enough to defeat a brute force attack (i.e. it would take 1 mont...

As for subnets/VLANs, I think there should be one for each Wireless Network (WLAN), so that traffic is isolated (e.g. internal WLAN, guest WLAN, department WLAN, etc).
the AP-manager interface and all of the APs should be on the same subnet/VLAN e.g. 10.1.1.x.then define WLANs and interfaces for the other subnets e.g. 10.2.1.x and 10.3.1.x which will be used by clients.
Guide says "same subnet". From p6-3 of the "Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Configuration Guide" --"When using the Layer 3 LWAPP mode, you should configure the management and AP-managerinterfaces to be on the same subnet so that access points can joi...
