I have 3 5508 controllers on 7.0 software which supports older aps i.e. 1231 ... For new expansion we have purchased 3602's which only run on 7.2 or higher. I have a 4th controller that is on 7.4 ... can I connect the new 3600's just to that controll...
Im thinking of creating a diff lan for the 3600's and upgrading 1 of the controllers for just the 3600's... That way I can keep everything else the same and upgrade later when we replace the 115 old AP's... would being on a separate lan keep the old...
Yes Thanks I am aware of the software and what can join which and that if I have only 1 controller for the newer or old aps that if it fails I have no redundancy. I gather that on the WCS it has to be upgraded if I have controllers that are on newer ...
