My issue was fixed with the 2nd replacement that I recieved. The first 2 5508s were 4 serial numbers and flat out refused to upgrade, even using all of the suggested methods. The one I just recieved had ver 7.0.98.0 and I was able to upgrade to 7.0....
I recieved 2 new in the box whose serial numbers were 4 characters apart, that would not upgrade or take an RTOS file. I just recieved my third from Cisco. I'll let you know how I make out.
