Hi,I have pix 6.1 firewall in the corporate office,I have pix 3.1 client in the remote network,I have setup the VPN access,I am able to connect to the pix from the remote network and be able to ping outside ip address of the PIX,I am not able to ping...

continued....the default gateway you add should be the inside ip address of the PIX..regards,Raul

Hi,can he ping any ip address in the private network? if you can not ping any machine, add a default route to the client with matric 2, regards,raul

Hi,In addition to not being able to ping inside interface IP address, I was not able ping any machine which has an IP address in the inside address range of PIX.In other words I was not able to ping any machine in their LAN.Now I think I have solved ...

Hi,I am having similer problem, I can connect to the PIX fire wall from my vpn client 3.1 in the remote network, I can also ping the outside interface of PIX firewall however I can not ping iside ip address of the PIX. thanks in advance,regards,RAUL

Hi,I have pix 6.1 and a remote vpn client 3.1, when I try to connect from remote network I am able to connect and I can ping outside interface of the pix but I can not ping inside interface of the pix.any ideas..Raul
