Remove crypto map from outside interface and apply it again and then check, if still won't work then reapply the whole configurations and then check, still won't work then try to find bug for the software image.

To accomplish that you have to configure failover betweent these two ASA's and it won't be achieved till the time both hardware and software is same. Please read configure failover document in which complete requirement of failover is written.

No, It won't work, for failover you need to have same hardware and software on both the firewalls.
