We have an Internet gateway which serve many European Customers.

We have been observing HIGH CPU utilization up to 90 to 100% on the box due to a specific process “ARP Input” ...
Yeah. the device is connected to LAN segment and many other Customers.
since the device is already EOS & EOL. we have upgraded the box and this has fixed the issue.
hi All:
since the device was already EOS & EOL.. The only thing we could possibly do was to upgrade the IOS code.. Considering this would still put the business at risk we have upgraded the box to Cisco 3850.
