I too have had problems with this new release, and have an open TAC case with Cisco. I have yet to hear anything. I know there are at least 3 issues which I spoke to them about in the TAC Case. Hopefully it is fixed soon.
We currently have broadcast SSID turned off and have for over 6 months. We roam between access points on a regular basis and have had no problems. The clients know what the SSID is and therefore they send a broadcast with the SSID and the AP respon...
One last thing, it looks like you need to make sure that the wep key is set on the AP before you turn on MIC. You also need to have the Aironet Extensions on before TKIP or MIC will work. Hope that helps.
Make sure that your clients are running compatible versions. I have tested and have it working with ACU 5.01, Windows Driver 8.01.06, and Firmware on the cards is 4.25.23. Hope that helps.
