i'm trying to install the IOS-XE Module (pip install ydk-models-cisco-ios-xe) but iis ending up with an error "killed"... i'm able to install IETF or IOS-XR model packages, but no IOS-XE... no matter if i create them self with generate.py...
Can anybody tell me which Bytes from the L2 Header are included in the policing calculation if i police the rate of a ethernet interface (with a policy-map)? i.e. Preamble, dot1q, mac......Thanks for any feedback!
i'm a bit late on that but i ran into the same today. when you take a look on the SVI mac-address, you'll see that SW1 and SW2 has the same after changing one switch to another MAC it was working: See https://developer.cisco.com/docs/modeling-labs/...

Hallo MartinTanks for your feedback! Today i measured that the vlan tag is alo excluded int the policing calculation. The calculation is based on IP-Packet+18Bytes Ethernet overhead.Cheers und frohe Festtage
you can try to ping the broadcast address of the subnet... the broadcast address is the last address of the subnet. You should receive a answer from the ip's which are in use. But.... not all devices are answering to directed broadcast
