Is the Incoming Mail Handling active with time remaining Perpertual?If yes, then all mail should pass through the appliance without any spam or virus checks. Do a tail of the mail_logs on your CLI to see the error messages (if any).
I did have the same problem at a customer with an IBM rack. I thought I was doing something wrong, or missed something, since the Dell racks wouldn't fit. We just placed it on top of the rack. :lol:
You can also have one appliance for the outgoing and the other one for the incoming mail, so that one machine doesn't consume power without doing anything but waiting for the other one to fail. :wink:
