Just want to get your opinion about shutting down a router that has WAAS on SRE module whether we'd better shut down the WAAS first or we can just simply turn off the router.Please share your opinion on this.

Logically you can use the subinterface up to 4294967295 but the real boundary is the memory capacity. Because every single logical interface will take up some space in the RAM.Thus it depends on your RAM size.
