6509 shows not-connect when hard coded 100 full to Nokia

I have a Nokia FW set to 100 full and a 6509 set to 100 full. They link shows not-connected on the 6509. When I set the 6509 to auto the link comes up and is a-100 a-full. Has anyone run into this and what is the cause?

PIX displays weird ASCII Characters on boot

I have a PIX 515 that displays one line of odd ASCII characters at boot then the PIX does nothing after that (does not respond). Tried to change console settings but to no avail. Any ideas?
