I am planning a migration of APs on an existing 8540 series AireOS WLC to a 9800 IOS-XE WLC. The indoor APs are straightforward and I've done those migrations several times at this point.
However, I've never migrated APs configured as bridges from A...
We have a single 2702I-B series AP that is unable to join our 9800-80 WLC. The other 100+ APs at the same site, same IP space, and same model were able to join no problem. For the AP with the issue, we do see a Join attempt, but the 9800 simply sta...

What do you mean by having the APs join as CAPWAP? Do you mean local mode AP? We have a point-to-point setup, so converting the MAP to local mode would require a wired connection no?
