i have a 1941w, it's running an ap801 software load now. will this physical integrated access point module run ap802 software? I don't want to render the device inop if i try and it won't work...

I agree with your assertion, I mean, I do understand that hardware ap801 versus hardware ap802 **may** be different, so I'm just going to leave it be. Thank you Leo for answering.
