I have noticed that we can keep the tunnel up by having a constant ping running from the HUB site. Almost as soon as the traffic stops, the tunnel will go down.

Unfortunatley this has not resolved my issue. The tunnel is still negotiating fine, but the symptoms are still the same.I dont have control of the remote PIX, but I was thinking about getting DPD put on them. Does anyone know what the default setting...

Thanks for the feedback.The config relating to 217.40.12.145 is legacy. This was previously the external IP address of the remote site. However, I will add this config as well as the additional conifg suggested and see how it goes.I will post feedbac...
