Upgrade wont help, we have hit same issue with version 4.4.3It seems it is unknown bug. With low traffic loads everything is fine, but adding more traffic it becomes to be unpredictable. Anyway we have raised a TAC case.
so the problem is solved. It was auto discovery of WDS AP. When connection is lost to WDSAP, AP tries to find it and kills data transfer.WDS AP now is entered staticaly and everything works fine. Of course, there is a limitation with backup WDS AP.
