Is there an option to turn of remote administration of the Cisco 1100 AP. I wish to allow only machines on the cabled network to administer the AP's, not wireless clients for security reasons.
Having discovered I can buy an 802.11g upgrade kit for the cisco aironet 1100 series access point, can I do likewise for the AIR-PCM352 cards (currently 802.11b) I use or would I need to buy new cards to take advantage of this upgrade.

I presume that if I went for the upgrade kit for the AP's that my exsiting aironet cards would still connect to the 802.11g AP's although not connecting at the new 54 mbps standard.Thanks in advance
