The problem is now resolved.I replaced the 1832i controller with a 1852i controller. All the 1832i APs got reset and joined the 1852i controller with in 5 mins. Reading on the web made it clear that 1832i as a controller only work 1 out of 10 times.
At this moment I am not at the location so I cannot access the LAP. But what I can see is that they at talking with the controller but the connection is dropped after a pretest. On the controller I get this with command AP:> show logging*spamApTask0:...
