Sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this...but I am getting some flack from someone about using Nortel equipment instead of Cisco (which is what I am aggresivly pursuing) for our network. The guy (consultant) is handling rolling out our ne...
I have a question. If I have a few (4) small remote offices, and want to use GRE tunnels over IPSec VPN's, back to the main office 2651 router...how does that work as far as having my PIX behind the 2651.The 2651 will have the Internet T1 coming into...
If the 203.122.23.149 address will only be used for the mail server (i.e. you have a small range of public addresses...like 203.122.23.148-155), then try this:static(inside, outside) 203.122.23.149 192.9.200.x netmask 255.255.255.255access-list 100 pe...

Thanks, awaheed, for the reply! So, then as far as the IP packets from the remote offices heading onto the PIX, would I just setup static routes in the 2651 to forward them onto the PIX?Like: Remote office subnet: 192.168.6.0/24PIX outside interface:...
There will be 4 remote offices. I've looked at using GRE IPSec tunnels for future use, right now, just IPSec tunnels will do. But in the event that we roll-out VoIP or something like that...I think that I would need to use GRE between the sites right...
In addition to my last post...if I go with the 1721's at each location, would it be better to terminate on the 2651 router at the HQ that is before the PIX, then just allow the remote office's subnets to pass thru the PIX to the internal net?
