I heard that cisco 350 series aironet wireless products use Intersil chipset. Is it a true story?

Anybody knows how Cisco pcmcia wireless card work with rehhat 9? My Redhat 9 can detect every other cards but cannot detect my only card with exactly the same type. The reason is not my card spoilt because the card works well in Windows environment.
