The FWSM only sees the port channel and the VLANs assigned to it by the switch. It is not aware of its location within that switch, or any other details about the switch chassis.-Mike
This just started happening to me last night. I have 2 FWSM's running 3.1(1) in a 6509 with dual sup720's in SSO running 12.2(18)SFX3. The FWSMs are rebooted at random intervals for seemingly no reason. May need to open a case on this one.

Jason,Thanks for the suggestion. The show xlate debug output looks normal. Timeout on xlates is set to 3:00:00.A bug sounds likely to me as well. Fortunately, this error doesn't seems to be causing any problems to our users.Thanks again,-Mike
