The problem has been resolved; the flat cable was defective. After replacing it, there have been no further crashes, and it is once again possible to write large files to and from the ESX appliance.Thankes for all te replies.
Makes sens and also written by Alfred it seems to be an issue with the hypervisor storage.I'll have to check the SSD setting on the hypervisor to be sure it's configured the right way.Thanks again everyone.Regards Tom
