the routing update will never be forwarded to another IBGP peer by a RR client as iBGP is working.(in fact it's what the RR workaround).

HSRP is for multicast network only (as it use multicast for the pooling between the peers).But you may use the "track" option of HSRP toswap the active HSRP router when a like goes down.please check the cco doc is you need more about HSRP track

and the interesting traffic is defined by your dialer-list.Warning: there is some bugs with the refresh of theidle timeout in some IOS version and with someconfiguration (12.0(7)T f.e.)
