just an update to my previous post. the smtp traffic seems to be working both ways except to yahoo and aol.I hear that both sites require reverse dns. I'm not sure what caused them to start acting up when I put in the pix.Could it be due to the fix...

Jay:thanks! that helped.I found that my PDM web interface could not be launched after that. However, with some KB searching I was able to change the http setting to the new ip address and it works fine.thanks!Manish
