I'd like to block ranges like 73.*.*.* and also ip's like 81.72.*.*. I know that I can block 83.24.42.* with 83.24.42.0/24 but what is the correct format for the first two?ThanksChuck
I'm curious if I maybe able to forward an ip or a range of ip's to a different ip. For example, I have any IP on http going to 10.1.1.45. But I want to have any ip from 68.42.10.* going to 10.1.1.46. Theoretically being able to handle for a 2ndary ex...
Hey all, first off I'd like to thank this great community. I've probably asked most of the new guy questions, and hope to begin to contribute back one day. I'd like to know, I want the ASA to use a syslog server but I must be able to setup this syslo...

Too bad there wasn't a Cisco website tool like http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/IpSubnet/home.pl that we could enter a desired range and have it calculate it. That would be perfect while reading your article as I read theory but sometimes (like t...
Thanks Sundar,I will continue to read this article. I still don't fully understand sub netting but maybe can you tell me how to block this range 200.63.42.* and it may bring my understanding closer. I want to block these bastard IP's from a Panama se...
Sure looks easy, but I do not have a /etc/sysconfig folder. So I'll go ahead and create this folder and file now and hope it works. I'll post back my findings.
