Thanks - that makes sense and I was starting to think along those lines, just couldn't find any Cisco doco that stated that fact - seems all the c1130 AP doco I read must referred to autonomous mode APs. Cheers
Actually you can manually assign a static IP address in LWAPP mode by entering "enable" mode and config the IP address by:lwapp ap ip Similiarly you can enter a default-gateway, hostname and WLC Controller IP address.Cheers
