Enclose UNC file path
\\server\sharename\filename.ext
within
< >
So it looks like
<\\server\sharename\file.jpg>
This gets you your UNC path linked right in Jabber. Looks goofy but works.
Good as of Jabber 11.9.x and 12.1.x
