I actually meant URL's, not passwords (late!).Anyhow we've just hit this, very specific URL's being saved, just had to make them the more generic bookmarks.
The other issue you can get is where users have saved passwords from a prior version (say 3.1.5) and then you upgrade to 4.0 and some (not all) of these are invalid?
