How can I use my access point?

I want to use my Cisco Catalyst C9120AXI-D access point without a router by connecting the ONU to the access point through an Ethernet cable and using a POE Injector. Please let me know how to set it up step by step from the very beginning and use it. Could you explain each step to me in a simple way?

 Setup an AP like this is not so simple to the point someone will remember every step. If you need that kind of support the best place to go is youtube.

 Just to give you an overview, those AP is not something plug and play. In order to use is in standalone mode, you need to setup and EWC (Embedded Wireless Controller).

I don't understand whether it is possible to access the Internet directly from the ONU via an Ethernet cable to the access point via a POE injector without a router using the username and password provided by the ISP. Help me, please!

cat 9K AP can be act as EWC, but that is end of Life - (still you looking to deploy until it fade of from cisco list) follow below guide :

For Long term plan install vWLC 9800  in any of the small Pi device.
